The Stuph File Program Slide Show - Bob Denver

Stuph File Program listeners, another video slide show is here. This one hails from June’s show #0140. It's a retro interview from my celebrity audio archives that features an actor who, sadly, is no long with us.

Over the last 25 years or so, I’ve had the pleasure to talk to some great stars of the past. This time around it’s a chat I had back in June of 1994 with actor Bob Denver.

He was best known for playing Gilligan in the hit sitcom, Gilligan's Island. Before that he was Maynard G. Krebs on The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis.

At the time we chatted he was promoting his book, Gilligan, Maynard & Me.

During our chat he referred to Alan Hale Jr., who played The Skipper, as the sweetest man, but I can truly say that so was Bob Denver. I had the pleasure and honour to work with him as the host of a special night to Sherwood Schwartz at Just For Laughs here in Montreal. In both cases, you couldn’t meet nicer, sweeter men.

Watch the slide show on YouTube while the audio plays! Share the link with fans of Bob Denver. It will surly leave a smile on your face.

That’s the Stuph – the way I see it.
